Blue Lapis Gemstone Globe
Find your way across the world with this gorgeous blue-lapis globe. This globe features oceans and seas created from Blue Jasper (Lapis).
Crafted to extremely high standards, it features 30 different highly polished semi-precious stones from all around the world. The stones are of various colour and are placed geographically on the globe to indicate the countries from which they are known. The gemstones are individually cut to exacting, interlocking country shapes, polished, and set with care and attention to adjacencies.
The globe is lacquered with a smooth, glassy finish.
The traditional four-leg stand is plated in 24k Gold with latitude and longitude lines of thin polished brass.
A compass is set into the base of the stand. It measures about 25.4cm (8") by 25.4cm (8") and comes on a gold-toned four-legged stand.
